Objective
The main objectives of the proposal are:
1) to contribute to the implementation of the EU renewable energy strategy (White Paper of Res and Campaign for Take-off and in particular the tasks in the area of biogas systems;
2) to stimulate the development of markets for biogas and anaerobic digestion technologies in EU and candidate countries;
3) to contribute to the removal of non-technical and technical barriers for the implementation of biogas based energy systems in Europe;
4) to improve experience and know how dissemination and co-ordination at international , EU, national and regional level, thereby increasing investor confidence and market penetration of biogas.
Description:
The project work is dispatch on three years. Each year will be prepared, organised and held a major biogas event (conference, business forum, biogas exhibition) and three training actions consisting of a study tour, a seminar and a workshop, aiming at finding solutions for the removal of the identified non-technical barriers and "trouble shooting", assistance for the elaboration of a national biogas action plan and defining of the legislative framework to support biogas development.
Three major biogas events, twelve training actions, three conference proceeding reports, one biogas training manual, one interim report, one final report, one biogas leaflet in the languages of main target groups.
