Modelling the fate and transport of persistent organic pollutants in high altitude lakes: interactions between biogeochemical and physical processes

Objective

A dynamic flux model will be developed and validated, in order to elucidate the biogeochemical and physical processes affecting the fate and transport of various persistent organic-pollutants (POPs) in high altitude lakes, and their impact on the food chain.
