Objectif The aim of this research is to determine the fatigue strength of industrially produced stainless steel sheets and to optimize the fatigue properties for a given resistance-spot-welding configuration and for a given mechanichal treatment. This work is necessary to improve the in-service performance of welded components and thus promote the wider utilisation of stainless steels.
