Objective
The NAS complement proposal focuses on the investigation of determinants to describe the efficiency of materials used for track systems and the demonstration of achieved improvements by means of experimental investigations and the tests results obtained with the prototype high speed track system "HIPERTRACK". The behaviour of the track system will be worked out with the view of rolling contact fatigue of the rail material.
