Objective The EuroConference "Recent Development In The Wave Field And Diffuse Tomographic Inverse Problems" focuses on the latest mathematical research of inverse problems that originate from wave field or tomographic inversion applications. In these applications, the goal is to retrieve information from an inaccessible region by probing it with wave fields (typically electromagnetic, acoustic or elastic waves) or by monitoring diffusion through it (typically electric current, near infrared light or heat flows). In recent years, the mathematical research around these problems has been intensive and completely new approaches to solve these challenging problems have emerged. Examples of such new approaches to solve these challenging problems have emerged. Examples of such new approaches are the use of differential geometric methods and techniques of control theory for partial differential equations. This research has also a strong impact on the research in applied and industrial sector.
