Objective
This proposal directly responds to Part D of Activity Code 3.1.1 Research Domain 1.3 which addresses the following objective in the EC Programme: -Objective 1: New technologies and concepts for all surface transport modes (road, rail and waterborne)
Overall Objective
The CURACAO project will build on the work of CUPID, PRoGRESS and EUROPRICE, in the field of urban road pricing. The consortium comprises a wide range of key partners from those projects along with the Co-ordinator of IMPRINT-EUROPE. The project will ensure continuity from FP5 projects, but also brings in new partners with new ideas to widen the geographic and intellectual scope of the initiative.
The overall objective of the project is:
- to promote and support fairer and more efficient pricing of road usage in urban areas
