Mobile communications regulation: Launch of studies
The Commission of the European Communities issues an invitation to tender for studies in the context of the implementation of the telecommunications policy proposals and the forthcoming assessment during 1992 of the telecommunications sector. The Commission intends to launch studies in the area of the mobile communications Regulation in preparation for a Green Paper on mobile communications. The three studies will provide: - Analysis of current licensing and declaration procedures for mobile communications in the Member States, and future trends. - Analysis of new methods of frequency allocations in the Member States plus comparative analysis of recent developments in this field. - A forecast of developments and future trends in technical development and commercial provision of mobile communications up to the year 2010. Tenders for one or more studies may be submitted individually or jointly. Applications must include a list of similar studies, proof of expertise in this area and proof of Community coverage. Detailed specifications for each area will be sent to prospective tenderers no later than the date of dispatch of the invitation to tender.
