Technical support for the implementation of international conventions on water
The European Commission, DG XI, has published an invitation to tender for technical support for the implementation of international conventions for the protection of the marine and river environment. The Commission is seeking to form a team of scientific and technical experts to provide scientific and technical assistance, in order to advise on policy implications. The team will also contribute to the preparation and follow-up of the files related to the Commission's participation in working groups, and assist at meetings related to these conventions. They will also participate in the preparation, at scientific level, of various projects required for relevant actions. The expected duration of the contract will be one year, which may be twice extended for one-year periods.
