A new World Wide Web homepage dedicated to the EU's Environment and Climate research programme has recently been launched on CORDIS. The site will serve as a general information source on activities being carried out within the programme, in particular, providing details of current research projects. This new information service complements the Environment and Climate homepage on the EUROPA server, to which links have been established where appropriate. The information provided on the homepage includes: - What's New, providing information on recent developments within the programme and related projects; - Key information on the programme, including aims and objectives, funding and research priorities; - Links to calls for proposals for projects launched under both the Environment and Climate and Marine Science and Technology (MAST) programmes on the EUROPA server and the CORDIS Document Library; - Project summaries by work programme sub-area: . Research into the natural environment, environmental quality and global change; . Environmental technologies; . Space techniques applied to environmental monitoring and research; . Human dimensions of environmental change and links to the European Network for Research into Global Change (implemented jointly with MAST and INCO); - Links to events and conferences on the EUROPA server; - Key information on relevant publications through links to the CORDIS RTD-Publications database and the EUROPA server; - Information on a pilot campaign currently being implemented to promote the collection of exploitable results emerging from research projects, including an exploitable research and technology offers form and links to the CORDIS RTD-Results database; - Contact details for European Commission staff responsible for the programme.
