The European Commission, DG XVI, has published an invitation to tender for the provision of advisory support services within the framework of an information and communication strategy in the context of regional and cohesion policy.

Assistance is required for the planning, implementation and assessment of information and communication activities relating to regional policies. This will mainly involve relations with the media, especially the regional media and target audience, the management and promotion of events, the creation of communication tools, and assistance in the follow-up and implementation of publicity rules.

The services will be required for a duration of four years, commencing at the beginning of 1999.
