CORDIS provides information on intellectual property rights
A new CORDIS Website providing details of the operational actions undertaken by the European Commission, DG XIII, in the field of intellectual property rights has recently been launched. These actions, funded under the Community's INNOVATION programme, have been implemented in order to create awareness and to promote the importance of intellectual property rights issues in innovation processes. The Website provides details of the following actions: - Quick Scan: a novelty search service in the framework of technology validation and technology transfer projects; - Patent portfolio: information on the management of the patent portfolio of the EU institutions; - Intellectual property rights (IPR) seminars: statistics and reports from seminars organised for Commission officials in IPR aspects of research and development; - IPR Helpdesk: information on the combined Website and help-line information services providing comprehensive information on how to protect and exploit Community research.
