Environmental reporting by companies
The European Commission, DG XI, has published an invitation to tender for a study on environmental reporting by companies. The study will assess the feasibility of, and the costs and benefits associated with, the disclosure of specific environmental information (environmental performance and pollution abatement costs and expenditures) in companies' environmental and financial reports. The final report of the study should be completed by the end of March 1999.
