The European Commission, DG III, has published a prior information notice concerning a series of contracts to be tendered between July and September 1998 on the integration of networks covering a range of subject areas.

These involve the following:

- EIONET-CHM: integration of networks using dynamic replication of document management, warehouse data and directory services;

- IHONDIA (EUDRA and EUPHIN): provision of operational network services for the Interchange of Data between Administrations (IDA) programme;

- COMSTRUCT: surveying information and document management;

- FLOSYS-IRC: provision of a document management system;

- IOPNTS: surveying national interoperability measures;

- MODEL REQUIREMENTS: developing requirements for the management of long-term electronic records;

- TESTA II: provision of trans-European telecommunications services for European institutions and Member State administrations involved in the IDA II programme;

- FIDES: provision of an Extranet for fishery data exchange (published in OJ No S 150 of 6.8.1998 p. 30, see RTD-News RCN 10873).
