The European Commission, DG XIII, has published a call for expressions of interest for studies and service contracts covering a mix of library technology areas of both EU and international scope.

The range of subject areas to be addressed in forthcoming contracts will cover a range of topics including:

- Library automation and networks to resource discovery issues;
- Digital library applications in traditional contexts;
- Cross-domain collaboration between libraries and other heritage institutions such as museums and archives.
