Contributing to international environmental activities
The European Commission, DG XI, is to fund an evaluation study which will be used to assess the performances of budget line B7-8110 with regard to its intervention logic in international environmental activities. Possible adjustments to the implementation of the budget line beyond 2000 should also be indicated in the study. Evaluators will complete a preliminary study within two months with the main study being completed within a further four months. The preliminary study will refine the evaluation methodology and specify more precisely the intervention logic in consultation with operational units of DG XI.
