Authorizations for State aid, Italy
Recent authorizations for State aid, (cases where the Commission raises no objections), include the following Italian RTD-related projects: - Public system to combat hail damage (Friuli Venezia Giulia): Aid of ECU 3.8 million will be given over three years to support research to prevent in advance the formation of hail. Research measures will be carried out in the general interest of the sector and results made available to interested parties. - AIMI National Programme: Aid for research, investment and promotion concerning cheeses of controlled origin and typical hard and medium-hard cheeses. Research measures will be carried out in the general interests of the sector and the results will be disseminated throughout the sector. The Italian authorities will present a report to the Commission on the implementation of the aid (total ECU 31 million over one year).
