FP7-Opportunities for Researchers in the Fields of Socio-economics and Humanities

Researchers from the socio-economic sciences and humanities (SSH) will find quite a few opportunities for participation in research outside of their designated Theme 8 “Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities”.

These cover topics ranging from hospital care, mental health of children, substance abuse of adolescents, eating habits, media channels to globalisation, climate change, gender research, teaching methods to the understanding of violent radicalization and a European Security Indicator call for socio-economic or humanistic approach, methodology or thematic insight. To open up this cornucopia of opportunities for the SSH-researcher, NET4SOCIETY, the EU-funded network of National Contact Points for the Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities, has analysed the Work Programmes of all FP7 calls opened on September 3, 2008 and identified topics calling for inclusion of SSH research. To get inspired: go to the “Opportunities” on http://www.net4society.eu/public/documents/(s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre). The “Opportunities” will be updated annually.
