The European Commission, DG XV, has published an invitation to tender for a study contract concerning moral rights in the context of the exploitation of works through digital technology. The analysis to be carried out should cover possible disparities in legislation and jurisprudence and practice, in relation to the protection of moral rights within the EU, particularly with regard to the specific characteristics of exploitation through digital technology. It should include a study of contractual practices and evaluate the economic impact of the new technologies on right holders and on the smooth functioning of the Internal Market.
