The Commission of the European Communities publishes a second call for proposals for the specific programme of research and technological development in the field of human capital and mobility addressed to researchers and to large-scale facilities and their users. I. Researchers wishing to obtain a research training fellowship: Following the first call for proposals, intended for organizations wishing to receive fellows, the Commission decided to approve for funding the proposals made by a number of institutes, of which 121 are listed in the present call. Each of these has a number of places available, as a maximum, for young researchers who will take part in the research projects listed. The Commission invites young scientists, particularly at post-doctoral level, to submit their proposals directly to the listed institutes by 2 November 1992 at the latest. Host institutes should themselves send their final choices to the Commission by 19 November 1992. This date corresponds to a first selection round; the call for proposals is open continuously. It is also noted that the individual fellowship activity remains continuously open. Information on this activity may be obtained from the given address. II. Organizations with large-scale scientific and technical facilities at their disposal, and researchers seeking to use them: After the initial call for proposals, intended for large-scale facilities, the Commission pre-selected six facilities listed in the present call. The Commission now invites pre-selected organizations to submit proposals jointly with potential users, to arrive at the Commission by 15 November 1992. European scientists interested in taking part in a joint action are invited to apply to their chosen pre-selected organization. Proposals from the organizations (original documents, not by fax) must be sent to: Commission of the European Communities Directorate General XII, XII/H-1 Human Capital and Mobility Programme Square de Meeus 8 B-1040 Brussels
