Subjects included in the proposed Directive are: Access to and use of public telephone networks and voice telephony services; advanced features; special network access and interconnection; tariff and accounting features; other service features; numbering; usage conditions, essential requirements and standards; procedural provisions; final provisions. Member States are to take the measures necessary to comply with the Directive before January 1994. On the basis of the results of implementation up to 1 January 1995, the Commission will review whether its provisions need to be amended.
