INDIGO POLICY Linking Programme will fund three EU-Indian projects in the field of biotechnology (health)
The main goal of the INDIGO POLICY Linking Programme is to support a multilateral cooperation involving minimum 2 European and 1 Indian research teams. The latter should aim to establish a virtual multilateral laboratory. INDIGO POLICY will support the first steps of the cooperation by funding mobility activities aiming to set up the virtual multilateral laboratory where project partners will share human and material resources while they will keep their autonomy, their status and their separated location. The projects will be financially supported with a maximum seed grant of EUR 30 000 per project. Besides, INDIGO POLICY will also bring assistance to the projects to help them to secure the funding of the project’ second phase (July 2016 – June 2018). Up to 6 partners (minimum of 3) are involved per project (6 organizations from 6 European countries and 6 Indian organizations). More information will be soon published on the INDIGO Projects’ website (http://indigoprojects.eu/(opens in new window)). This activity takes place within the framework of the BILAT INDIGO POLICY, funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme (Grant Agreement: 609535). The overall objective is to support the policy dialogue and enhance Science, Technology and Innovation between Europe and India. The Linking Programme in the field of Biotechnology is a pilot activity for joint actions supporting the implementation of the Strategic Agenda on Research.
