Technology Validation and Technology Transfer results
The Innovation Programme of the Fourth Framework Programme has published updated abstracts of all the projects funded under the Technology Validation and Technology Transfer action line. The three calls for proposals 1995, 1996, 1997 resulted in 110 projects passing through Definition and into a main Implementation phase. Twelve Accompanying Measures Projects were also supported. Projects cover a very wide variety of industry sectors and regions, and have demonstrated the multifaceted nature of innovation and technology transfer. Lessons learned and good practices developed during the four year programme are being used as an input into the actions planned for the Fifth Framework Programme. The updated abstracts contain information concerning the work of the project, together with Web-site and email addresses for the project co-ordinators. The ITT special edition on Technology Transfer in Europe, July 1998, contained background stories of 24 Innovation Projects. Following requests for further information a brochure "Success Stories in Innovation" has now been prepared by the Commission showing details of these projects together with details of co-ordinators, partners, Web-site and email addresses.
