Czech Republic to participate in EU education and training programmes
The Council of Ministers on the 27 November 1998 approved on behalf of the European Union the Draft Decision defining the terms and conditions for the participation of the Czech Republic in Community programmes in the fields of training, youth and education and energy. This will enable Czech nationals in due course to participate in the LEONARDO DA VINCI and SOCRATES education programmes, as well as in the SAVE II programme for energy efficiency and the YOUTH FOR EUROPE programme.
