INNO INDIGO partnership programme: Five India-Europe research projects in the field of “Clean water and health” selected for funding

Through the INNO INDIGO Partnership Programme first joint call on “Clean water and health” which was announced in July 2014, 5 collaborative research projects with the participation of teams from Europe and India will be funded.

This INNO INDIGO call is funded by the national and regional contributions from 5 funding organizations representing 5 different countries including India, Belgium, Estonia, Germany and Portugal. Five collaborative research projects involving 20 excellent research teams/partners have been selected out of 25 proposals submitted by international consortia. A total budget of approximately € 2,600,000 will be allocated to the funded projects for a period of 3 years. The five projects have been selected following a scientific evaluation process which involved remote external peer reviews as well as an evaluation carried out by the scientific experts members of the INNO INDIGO Scientific Council. The projects are expected to start their activities in October 2015. Follow INNO INDIGO’s dedicated webpage to keep track of their activities: http://indigoprojects.eu/funding/funded-projects INNO INDIGO (http://indigoprojects.eu/about/inno-indigo/about) is an ERA-NET with India funded under the FP7.
