The European Commission has announced it is recruiting for a number of positions at the London office of the European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products (EMEA). The EMEA is responsible for coordinating the evaluation and supervision of medicinal products for human and veterinary use in the European Communities. Reserve lists will be drawn up for the following positions: - Principle administrators (scientific) within the services for evaluation of human medicinal products (A5); - Administrators (scientific) within the services for evaluation of human medicinal products (A7); - Assistant administrators (scientific) within the services for evaluation of human medicinal products (A8); - Administrators (system designer/database administrator) (A7); - Administrator (personnel) (A7); - Principle administrators in the following fields; audits/inspections and quality control (A5); -Administrative assistants (system administrator) (B5). Applicants must be nationals of a Member State of the European Union or of the European Economic Area, on the condition that they have full rights as a citizen. The candidates selected will be included on a reserve list, and may be offered a five-year renewable contract.
