The European Commission, DG XXII, has published a call for proposals on cooperation in higher education and vocational education and training between the European Community and the United States of America. This call for proposals refers to the major component of the programme, which concerns joint EC/US consortia projects. Each joint consortium must involve a minimum total of six partners, with at least three active in the EC and three in the US, including at least two from different Member States and in different states of the US. As this is a transatlantic cooperation programme, the main focus of activities should be on transatlantic rather than intra-European or intra-American interactions. For further information, including the guidelines for applicants and application forms, please contact: European Commission, DG XXII Rue de la Loi 200, 1049 Bruxelles Tel. +322-2991111; Telex +322-21877 COMEU B URL: http://europa.eu.int/en/comm/dg22/dg22.html(opens in new window)
