Call coming for R&D and computer-related services
The European Commission, DG XIII has published advanced information on a call for tender concerning services relating to EU innovation measures and initiatives. The call will be divided up into two parts: Computer-related services; and, Research and development services. The call for tender, which will be published on 15 March 1999, will concern the procurement of services relating to the establishment and operation of the "European trend chart on innovation". Tasks to be carried out will include, among others: - The continuous identification, updating, compilation, structuring, analysis and dissemination of information relating to innovation policy measures and initiatives of the Member States of the European Union; - The development of an analytical reference framework for cross-cultural comparison of policy measures; - The organisation of workshops and expert panel sessions and the establishment and operation of various databases and Internet-based information services for public and restricted access.
