ICT SMEs, Investors and Coaches for Investment Forum brokerage at Future Internet Week in Pozna, Poland
ICT Finance MarketPlace is inviting for ICT sector SMEs seeking investors and venture capital, corporate, business angel and other investors interested in investing in such SMEs to participate in a Venture Academy and Investment Forum on 27th (afternoon) and 28th (morning) of October 2011. These events are run in conjunction with the EU’s Future Internet Week to be held on 24th – 28th of October in the same venue in Poznan, Poland. The Venture Academy consists of a one-day, coaching event where experienced coaches from relevant industry areas will provide one-to-one practical help to participants to develop their pitching skills towards potential investors. The Investment Forum offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their business in front of an international network of venture capital and corporate investors, strategic partners and expert advisors and to meet with them afterwards. The Venture Academy and Investment Forum are fully funded by the EU and thus, there is no charge for participation. Benefits of participation will include: • Networking with dynamic entrepreneurs, investors and advisors at the event; • Visibility – we publish your picture and biography on our event website and in the conference binder; • Access to presenting companies’ and investors’ business profiles before the event; • An opportunity for investors to get to know the SMEs in depth through participation as a coach in the Venture Academy. Future Internet Week offers leading stakeholders dealing with the next-generation Internet an opportunity to discuss new ICT technologies as well as enabling active networking among them. With over 20 side-events, the 3 main events are the Future Internet Conference, the Future Internet Assembly and the Future Internet Forum. During these conferences the vision of the future Europe will be linked with the tasks to be put before IT infrastructure to implement such strategies as: Innovation Europe or Digital Europe. The ICT Finance MarketPlace is an EU-funded initiative to improve access to finance for SMEs engaged in ICT innovation.
