STREAM e-Learning course: 3rd module on Innovation
The 3rd module of the e-Learning is addressed to three main categories of actors involved in water technology, research and management issues: policy makers, researchers and technicians/managers/entrepreneurs in companies active in the water sector. This module has been developed by two EU-projects: INNOWATER and STREAM project. The INNOWATER project supports innovators to bring their technology to the market and supports the water-using industry to become aware of and implement innovative technologies. The STREAM project aims at explaining the main themes related to water and innovation to a growing community. This third module combines the innovation approaches of both projects by focusing on general challenges on water, the role of technologies and existing examples and challenges for innovators to bring their technologies to the market. The course focuses mainly on innovators, offering a first training in addressing their main challenges to get their technologies to the market. The course can also be of interest for politicians and researchers involved in promoting technologies to reach the market. The third e-Learning course has the objective of identifying the main European Water Challenges by explaining the role of innovative technologies as well as bringing forward major barriers for innovators to implement these innovative technologies. Requirements to attend the e-Learning course: • Minimum of knowledge in water sector or water- related innovations • A minimum experience in developing and/or applying innovative technologies in water (such as: research projects implemented or planned; using and testing innovative technologies, etc.) • Fluent English DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: 15th of May 2012 To register, please fill the online form at: http://stream-project.eu/content/e-learning-course-3rd-module-registration-form(se abrirá en una nueva ventana) For further details, please visit the e-Learning Platform section on the STREAM website http://www.stream-project.eu/e-learning-platform(se abrirá en una nueva ventana) For your questions, please contact Ms. Chiara Piccolo chiara.piccolo@menon.org STREAM Project (Sustainable Technologies and Research for European Aquatic Management) is funded under the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme - Environment.
