New developments in the MERIL portal

Find out what is new with MERIL-2 and the developments that have been done in the portal.

New Advanced Data Module MERIL has recently launched the Advanced Data module. With this third and final data module, MERIL paves the way for its final data collection efforts. RI coordinators can provide information for 21 data fields related to their research infrastructure’s impact, funding and HR. The collected data portrays the active use of research infrastructures and metrics on RI outputs, which are relevant for European policymakers. This will foster engagement and help demonstrate an RI’s positioning within the European RI landscape. RI coordinators who have already published entries are encouraged to return to the MERIL portal to edit their existing page via the following link: https://portal.meril.eu/meril/login The module for Advanced Data can be found at the bottom of their RI profile page. The MERIL database is open to national RIs too The MERIL-2 project continues to evolve in line with the needs of its users and stakeholders. As part of this evolution, the MERIL database now accepts nominations of research infrastructures that are only open to national users. Previously, MERIL’s eligibility checklist stipulated that only research infrastructures of “more than national relevance” should be listed. As of 25 July 2018, the sixth criterion has been amended with the aim of expanding MERIL’s coverage and to broaden its usefulness Suggest an RI for inclusion here: http://portal.meril.eu/meril/static/static_addRI
