Official Journal publishes GROWTH and HUMAN POTENTIAL calls
The Official Journal of the European Communities has published the first calls for proposals for indirect RTD (Research, Technological Development and demonstration) Actions under the specific programme for RTD on improving the human research potential and the socio-economic knowledge base and indirect actions under the specific programme for RTD on competitive and sustainable growth. These programmes have been launched under the European Commission's Fifth Framework Programme (FP5) for RTD activities for the period 1998 to 2002. These are: - Research Training Networks; - Marie Curie Individual Fellowships; - Marie Curie Host Fellowships; - Access to Research Infrastructures; - Socio-Economic Research; - Science and Technology Policies - Strategic Analysis; - High Level Scientific Conferences; - Raising Public Awareness. One call has been announced, on 16 March 1999, for the socio-economic knowledge base and indirect actions under the specific programme for RTD on competitive and sustainable growth.
