The European Initiative in Electronic Commerce has published "Accelerating Electronic Commerce in Europe (Second Edition, March 1999), which may be downloaded at: URL: http://www.ispo.cec.be/ecommerce/ecbook.html(opens in new window) It contains descriptions of more than 350 projects in the field of electronic commerce that took place with European Union support and funding in the Fourth Framework Programme of Research, Technological Development and Demonstration (1994-1998): - Esprit Information Technologies; - ACTS (Advanced Communication Technologies); - Telematics Applications; - INFO2000; - IMPACT; - InfoSec (Security of Telecommunications and Information Systems); - ISIS (Information Society Initiative in Standardization); - TEN-Telecom (Trans-European Telecommunications Networks); - Some projects supported by Structural Funds.
