EUROTRANS-BIO 7th Call Results
Funding has been offered to innovative industrial R&D&I projects in the fields of Health (73%), Industrial (18%) and Agro-Food (9%) biotechnologies. 29 SMEs, 2 large industries and 14 Research Organizations from 8 European Countries/Regions are involved in the projects and raise a global budget of about 14 million €. ETB launches common calls for industry-driven trans-national R&D&I projects with a view to create an integrated funding programme for biotech SMEs. Since 2006 seven joint calls were implemented and 125 projects, with overall project costs of 215 million €, were funded. ETB is an international funding initiative which launches annual calls for proposals to fund biotech R&D&I projects of European SMEs. More information on the ETB initiative at www.eurotransbio.eu
