CORDIS features IPR Helpdesk website
A new web service has been launched for the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Helpdesk. The web service, which is accessible from CORDIS, has been redesigned with several new features, such as Issue One of "IP-Wire" - a free-of-charge online newsletter. Additionally, the site now features an expanded link section which acts as a gateway to hundreds of relevant sites world-wide, and a comprehensive list of events in which the IPR-Helpdesk is participating. The objectives of the IPR Helpdesk are: - To raise awareness in Europe about the importance of IPR issues in the innovation process; - To encourage the early use of technical and patent database searches in order to define the technical state of the art before commencing any R&D activity; - To offer useful tools for technology transfer and technology exploitation activities, including assistance on contractual issues relating to R&D.
