JRC launches Satellite Communication Survey
The Space Applications Institute (SAI) of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre's (JRC) has published a second edition of "Satellite Communication Survey", following the great success of the first edition. The new edition includes updated information as well new developments within the field and covers a broader spectrum of activities: - Incorporated information on new and future satellite technologies, systems and services; - Market developments in the satcom sector; - A new section on Applications, which describes a number of European research, technological development and demonstration (RTD) application projects in the areas of Earth Observation and Environment and their potential synergy with satcom systems.
