Commission amends proposal on diesel-engine pollutants
The European Commission has amended a proposal for a European Parliament and Council Directive on measures to be taken against the emissions of gaseous and particulate pollutants from diesel engines for use in vehicles. The amendments concern Recitals 12 and 14, regarding further substantial reductions in emission limit values, as well as Articles 2(2), 2(3) and 4.
