ASTRON reports on recent work
The ASTRON (Applications on the Synergy of satellite Telecommunications, eaRth Observation and Navigation) project, of the Space Applications Institute (SAI), part of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC), has recently published the following reports: - Satellite Communications Survey - Systems and Applications Release 2; - Overview of Current and Planned Spaceborne Earth Observation Systems - a Report. Missions, Instruments, Orbits, Products, Indicative Costs; - Overview of Current and Planned Spaceborne Earth Observation Systems - Handbook. Scenarios of Integrated Space Applications (Satcoms and EO); - Inventory of projects, with a European dimension, where Satellite Communications are used for Earth Observation applications.
