Practical Horizon 2020 Training and Coaching for Panama's research and innovation community

Europe for Business Ltd would like to announce about the practical Horizon 2020 Training and Coaching for Panama's research and innovation community. The training is organised by the Universidad Tecnológica de Panama in collaboration with Europe for Business Ltd (EFB) and Riga Technical University (RTU) on 25-29 July, 2016 in Panama City, Panama.

The training and coaching sessions will be conducted by experienced trainers and coachers of Horizon 2020 from both organisations Europe for Business Ltd and Riga Technical University. Objective and content of the Course: Specific knowledge and insight of the European Programme Horizon 2020, with the aim of bridging the gap between Research and Innovation; increasing understanding of the differences between the three pillars of H2020; and putting this knowledge into practice. Additionally, the course will provide other alternative funding opportunities in innovation and research and education at EU (such as ERAMUS+, Europe Aid) and Bilateral level with Panama (such as DAAD). Participants: Scientists from SMEs, research centres and universities Description of the course: The training programme has a focus on Panama focus and is based on the concept of training for researchers/scientists to multiply its effect and impact. Training for scientists helps to improve performance. Specifically, it helps scientists adapt their innovative ideas to the specific needs announced by the EC. It has been prepared taking into account the specific needs of Panamanian societal challenges (scarcity of resources, the sustainable utilisation of renewable energy and High Quality Affordable Food, and Social Sciences / Humanities) and then link with the wider community of researchers and academics in other Euro-Latin America countries.
