Impressions after driving a hydrogen fuelled car

Do you want to know about impressions after driving a hydrogen fuelled car? Don´t miss this video! https://youtu.be/OJHyXGWxCzg It only takes you 6 minutes. Don´t miss any questions! The feedback was gathered by HYACINTH project which aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of the social acceptance of hydrogen technologies across Europe.

During the World Hydrogen Energy Conference WHEC 2016 held in Zaragoza on June 13th-16th, conference visitors took advantage of the opportunity to join the driving demonstrations offered by Toyota and BMW for their hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV). HYACINTH project was there to get their feedback. These emission-free cars can accelerate up to 170 kilometers per hour, are completely silent, and they have a range up to 600 kilometers before need to refuel. Even then filling-up takes just three minutes. One of the key elements to commercial deployment is to reduce the costs. Companies are working hard to reduce it. HYACINTH project (http://hyacinthproject.eu) aims to: 1) Identify and understand awareness and acceptance of hydrogen energy and HFC technologies and perceived potential benefits (added value) in the general public and at selected stakeholders. 2) Identify the main drivers of social awareness and acceptance of HFC technologies 3) Support stakeholders (industry, project managers, policy makers…) by providing a social acceptance research toolbox, enabling a regional understanding of the acceptance process and providing tools to manage expectations to keep or increase acceptance at selected stakeholder groups and the general public.
