The European Commission, DG XIII, has published a corrigendum regarding the invitation to tender for a revision of the status of the trans-European telecommunications network (TEN-Telecom).

The Commission has decided to extend the deadline for submission of tenders as well as the final date for making a request for the tender documents. The new dates are as follows:

- Final date for making request of terms of reference is 30 June 1999;
- Final date for receipt of tenders is 30 July 1999;
- The opening will take place on 6 August 1999 at 10.00.
