Commission's Statistical Office calls for research services
Prior information regarding an invitation to tender for provision of statistical and research services has been published by the European Commission's Statistical Office. The provision of services will be divided into several lots relating to various fields of the Community statistical programme. The following services will be included in the category for statistical services: - Classifications: methodological coordination. Infrastructure of statistics on companies, nomenclatures, register and panel, globalisation; - Structural statistics of companies; - Production: economic statistics for companies; - Calculations and regional indicators, population and geographic information system; - Agricultural statistics (agricultural environment, farm-produce industry, use of soils, fishing; - Environment. Additionally, another category of services will be announced including research services, statistical research, statistical methods and statistical analysis. The invitation for tender for the above services will be announced in the Official Journal during 1999.
