EUROCOURSES: Publication of JRC courses and educational seminars
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the Commission of the European Communities presents a yearly programme of courses and seminars as part of its education and training programme. Known as "Eurocourses", these take place mainly at the JRC location in Ispra (Varese), Italy. Areas covered by the courses include: - Advanced scientific techniques; - Chemical and environmental science; - Energy systems and technology; - Environmental impact assessment; - Health physics and radiation protection; - Computer and information science; - Mechanical and materials science; - Nuclear science and technology; - Reliability and risk analysis; - Remote sensing; - Technical innovation; - Environmental management A series of books devoted to these courses is now available, published for the Commission of the European Communities, (Directorate-General for Information Technologies and Industries, and Telecommunications, DG XIII). The series comprises collected papers and other contributions made by the experts who have taken part in recent JRC Eurocourses.
