A book entitled "Who is Who: People and organizations in the DELTA programme" has been produced for the specific programme of research and development in the field of telematic systems in areas of general interest; Area 4: Flexible and Distance Learning (DELTA). This 122-page document, produced with the support of the VALUE programme, contains information on the 180 organizations and the people across Europe who are involved in RTD in the context of DELTA. The profile of each organization, as well as postal and electronic addresses are provided followed by a description of the 22 DELTA projects in which these people are involved, including the purpose, means, expected benefits and outputs of each project. Also provided in the "Who is Who" is brief information on the aims and objectives of DELTA, the programme's future perspectives, a list of official DELTA documents plus useful DELTA addresses. The book has been prepared by TRIBUNE, a DELTA project in charge of the dissemination of information concerning RTD in the field of learning technology. A continuously updated version of the information it contains is available on TRIBUNE's database server. In cooperation with the TRIBUNE project and DELTA, publication was supported by the VALUE programme for the dissemination and exploitation of the results of Community research and technological development programmes.
