As part of the EU's third multiannual framework programme for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the European Commission, DG XXIII, is inviting proposals to support of the organisation of international buyers exhibitions (IBEXs). These are primarily aimed at promoting relations between main contractors and subcontractors.

IBEX meetings are intended to allow pre-arranged meetings between large enterprises and SMEs and the events are often organised in parallel with trade fairs for specific sectors. This call relates to IBEX exhibitions to be held between September 2000 and June 2001.

The Commission will award each accepted proposal funding up to 25% of the total budget (with an upper limit of 100,000 euro).
