A common technical regulation for digital enhanced cordless telecommunications (DCET) DCET/GSM dual-mode terminal equipment has been adopted by the European Commission. This decision will apply to terminal equipment connected to a public telecommunications network, and covers attachment requirements for DCET equipment accessing the global system for mobile communications (GSM) networks. It includes the harmonised standard for DCET, GSM attachment requirements for DCET/ISDN dual-mode terminal equipment prepared by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
