The European Commission has published a call for tenders for a study to investigate the applications and implications of an agreement between the EU and the US on the mutual recognition of calibration certification. This will give particular attention to the technical requirements for marine equipment in the EU and US. The analysis is a follow-up to the transatlantic economic partnership (TEP) action plan between the EU and US, which is aimed at enhancing transatlantic trade.
