Analysis of global environmental issues
A modelling framework for the quantitative analysis of global environmental issues is required by the European Commission, DG XI, and is now the subject of an invitation to tender. The contractor would be required to develop a computable general equilibrium (CGE) modelling framework for the quantitative analysis of global environmental issues, and to develop two models for analysing the use of different economic instruments for meeting the quantitative reduction targets for greenhouse gases under the Kyoto protocol.
