Ship scrapping in Europe
A study to investigate the conditions under which ship scrapping could become a technologically feasible, economically viable and environmentally acceptable activity in Europe is required by the European Commission's Enterprise Directorate General. A tender has been published in the Official Journal for the study, which would ensure all applicable rules for occupational health are obeyed.
