Growth programme opens call for measurements and testing and infrastructure
The Competitive and Sustainable Growth programme, part of the EU's Fifth Framework Programme has published a dedicated call for research in measurements and testing, and support for research infrastructure. The fixed-deadline call opens specific topics in the following areas of the work programme: - Generic activities: measurements and testing (available budget ten million euros): - - Methodologies to support standardisation and Community policies; - - Measurements and testing anti-fraud methodologies; - - Support to the development of certified reference materials (CRMs) - Support for research infrastructures (eight million euros): - - Support activities to medium and large-scale facilities; - - Setting up of virtual institutes; - - Reference data bases; - - Measurement and quality management infrastructures.
