Building a gateway to the European learning area
The European Commission wants to build a gateway to the 'European learning area'. To help achieve this, the Joint Research Centre has issued a call for tenders for a study that will allow the Commission to carry out the tasks of definition, technical development and piloting of such a gateway. In particular, the study will undertake analysis and propose the terms of reference to be adopted by a steering committee. The study should address the following tasks: - Inventory and analysis of key information sources and of observations on ETY (education, training and youth); - User requirements study; - Proposal of specifications for the development and pilot operation of the gateway website.
